লাউয়াছড়া জাতীয় উদ্যান
লাউয়াছড়া জাতীয় উদ্যান বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম জনপ্রিয় সংরক্ষিত প্রাকৃতিক বন এবং শ্রীমঙ্গলের সবচেয়ে বিখ্যাত পর্যটন আকর্ষণগুলোর একটি। এটি প্রায় ১,২৫০ হেক্টর এলাকা জুড়ে বিস্তৃত একটি চিরসবুজ ও আধা-চিরসবুজ বন, যেখানে প্রকৃতির সৌন্দর্য এবং জীববৈচিত্র্য একসঙ্গে উপভোগ করা যায়। বনজুড়ে রয়েছে শত শত প্রজাতির গাছ, অর্কিড, বাঁশঝাড় এবং ঔষধি উদ্ভিদ। এখানকার সবচেয়ে পরিচিত প্রাণী হলো উল্লুক (Hoolock Gibbon), যা বাংলাদেশের একমাত্র বনমানুষ প্রজাতি। এছাড়াও বিভিন্ন ধরনের বানর, কাঠবিড়ালি, মায়া হরিণ, বন্য পাখি ও প্রজাপতির দেখা মিলতে পারে। উদ্যানের ভেতরে কয়েকটি নির্ধারিত ট্রেইল রয়েছে, যেখানে হাঁটতে হাঁটতে প্রকৃতির নিস্তব্ধতা উপভোগ করা যায়। সকালে গেলে পাখির কিচিরমিচির এবং শীতল পরিবেশ ভ্রমণকে আরও উপভোগ্য করে তোলে। বর্ষাকালে বন আরও সবুজ ও প্রাণবন্ত হয়ে ওঠে। প্রকৃতি ফটোগ্রাফি, বার্ড ওয়াচিং এবং ট্রেকিংয়ের জন্য এটি আদর্শ স্থান। বন সংলগ্ন এলাকায় খাসিয়া সম্প্রদায়ের বসতি রয়েছে, যেখানে তাদের ঐতিহ্যবাহী জীবনধারার একটি ঝলক দেখা যায়। প্রকৃতিপ্রেমী, পরিবার এবং বন্ধুদের সঙ্গে সময় কাটানোর জন্য এটি একটি অসাধারণ গন্তব্য।

মাধবপুর লেক
মাধবপুর লেক শ্রীমঙ্গলের সবচেয়ে মনোরম প্রাকৃতিক স্থানগুলোর একটি। চারদিকে সবুজ চা বাগান আর ছোট ছোট টিলার মাঝখানে অবস্থিত এই লেকটি শান্ত ও মনোমুগ্ধকর পরিবেশের জন্য পরিচিত। লেকের স্বচ্ছ পানিতে চারপাশের সবুজ পাহাড়ের প্রতিচ্ছবি এক অপূর্ব দৃশ্য তৈরি করে। বছরের বিভিন্ন সময়ে এখানে দেশি-বিদেশি পাখির আনাগোনা দেখা যায়। সকালে বা বিকেলের নরম আলোয় লেকের সৌন্দর্য আরও বেশি ফুটে ওঠে। প্রকৃতির নিরিবিলি পরিবেশে বসে সময় কাটানো কিংবা ছবি তোলার জন্য এটি একটি আদর্শ স্থান। বর্ষাকালে চারপাশের সবুজ প্রকৃতি আরও প্রাণবন্ত হয়ে ওঠে। শীতকালেও এখানে ভ্রমণের আলাদা আনন্দ রয়েছে। পরিবার, বন্ধু কিংবা দম্পতিদের জন্য এটি একটি জনপ্রিয় পিকনিক স্পট। শহরের কোলাহল থেকে দূরে শান্ত পরিবেশ উপভোগ করতে চাইলে মাধবপুর লেক অবশ্যই ঘুরে দেখার মতো একটি স্থান। এখানে এসে অনেকেই সূর্যাস্তের অসাধারণ দৃশ্য উপভোগ করেন।
